Lecrae Concert in Omaha Tonight

Attention Omaha folks: I found out this morning that Lecrae is in Omaha tonight.  Lecrae is one of the leaders in the Reformed rap scene and one of the favorites in our house (it is funny that his music is the only stuff that calms our colic newborn!).

The show is in Omaha tonight at Liberty Christian Church.  As of this morning there were about 100 tickets left.  If you are local you can give them a call at 402-733-8897.  They are on about 60th & L in Omaha.

For all of you how like James White, it is interesting that Lecrae was converted after hearing Dr White preach.

Here are a couple of videos from Lecrae’s newest album Rebel. The first is from the Don’t Waste Your Life Tour in conjunction with John Piper’s ministry.  Whatever you might think about hip hop music, the lyrics are weighty and refreshing.  I happen to be down with both.
