An Exhortation to Evangelize from an Atheist

The avowed atheist and public entertainer Penn from Penn and Teller recounts an interaction with a Christian man who brought him a Bible.  He asks some very good questions that we as Christians need to hear and, frankly, answer.

“How much do you have to hate someone to not proselytize? How much do you have to hate somebody to believe that everlasting life is possible and not tell them that?”

   I was wondering when you were going to post this.

   Mr. Jillette reveals himself to be an honest and sincere thinker. and I have respect for him on that level.

   secondly, Penn rightly points out the hypocrisy of those of us who hold the truth yet for whatever reason are afraid to share it,

   thinking we may be abused for it, or thought stupid or uneducated or whatever.

   I PRAY that God use’s PENN’S words to prick the hearts of ALL of us (especially fellow Christians here in the Omaha metro area) who claim salvation.

   I was really touched by the video. Very thought provoking. I think the concept of “how much do you hate someone” if you don’t tell them what you believe is an excellent point. I will be sharing this post with others. Thank you.
